It’s been a long time coming. Matt and Robert began planning their wedding over three years ago. Enter Covid. All wedding plans came to a screeching halt. Enter Napa wildfires. Their venue burned to the ground. But despite the tragedies and delays some things did remain constant.
Their love for one another. Their resolution.
Their hopes and dreams for a beautiful celebration with friends and family.
We’ve followed them in their journey and they’ve inspired us in more ways than one.

MATT
Compromise being the foundation of any good marriage, Matt and Robert had to master this one early on. Both have stunning - yet different - tastes and preferences. We were challenged and excited when designing for their wedding to ensure both of them got exactly what they dreamed.
Matt takes his inspiration from the English countryside and leans toward natural elements, textures and colors. We incorporated these in a subtle and unique ways throughout the ceremony and dinner. The aisle mimicked a meandering trail in the countryside with lush flowering plants seemingly springing from the ground.
Dinner was showcased atop neutral linens, stone chargers and a stunning, yet simple, napkin treatment of greenery and a lavender sprig
ROBERT
In contrast, Robert loves color and wanted to incorporate bold statements throughout.
Following the ceremony, we designed a dramatic entry to the Cocktail Hour. Using lush, deeply colored fabrics draping was purposefully set so the guests experienced anticipation and a dramatic wow moment as they entered.
The after party featured our new navy blue velvet Augustine sofas, mirrored flex tables and an unexpected accessory - Disco Balls!
And special kudos to the Alexis Raine Events team who we worked closely with to orchestrate these very special nuptials.
PERSONAL TOUCH
Meaningful, personal items were chosen for guest favors. They reflected the grooms’ heritage and history together.
Match Boxes | Custom match boxes were designed with each of the groom’s Chinese Zodiac signs.
FOUR SEASONS
The incomparable Four Seasons Napa Valley. provides a stunning backdrop for all our designs. We build upon their already beautiful foundation to transform the many event spaces they have. The property, team, service, food and bar menus make this one of our favorite Napa venues.
