Lindsey Rion
Founder and Creative Director
Lindsey embraces the simple yet extraordinary beauty found in nature and has a creative and original eye for floral and event design. Successfully executing thousands of events, she brings a cultivated taste, passion for serving others and excellence in all she does.
She is a California native growing up in NorCal. After attending college in Chicago, majoring in Hospitality, she discovered a passion for event planning and design. She worked for a large event production firm there and fell in love with the fast pace of the event industry.
When Lindsey decided to open her own business it was her grandfather who was her inspiration for opening in St. Helena. Jim Lider studied at UC Davis and worked as the Napa County farm adviser for 22 years and was the first viticulture specialist in The Napa Valley for the university cooperative extension. She began working in a portion of her grandfather’s business warehouse focusing on floral design. Waking up at 4 am to go to the San Francisco floral market, designing, installing and delivering, Lindsey wore many hats. Slowly, she began buying furniture - selecting each piece carefully and thoughtfully - until she eventually outgrew the space and moved into a warehouse in Napa. Rion Designs now offers Planning Services, Event Design, Furniture and Decor, Custom Floral Designs, Weekly Decor and Floral Installations at Wineries, Custom Art and Graphics, Fabric Treatments and Conceptual Renders.
Lindsey resides in St. Helena with her husband Matt, beautiful new daughter, Sophia and their three beloved pups.

Cathy Schroeder
Client Services
Cathy has her hands in a little bit of everything at Rion Designs including assisting Lindsey, staff and clients, working on inventory and marketing just to name a few. The best part? Knowing she’s had some small part in making an event special and memorable. Her favorite place to be is outdoors and you can find her hiking with her pup, Truly, every morning - rain or shine. Her other loves? Her hubby, Tim, her two amazing sons, gardening, cooking and baking.
Eliseo Garcia
Installation Manager
Eliseo joined the Rion team in early 2016. With extensive experience in event production, Eliseo knows the importance of day of production. His hard work and dedication are evident when it comes to the set up and break down of each event. He’s lived in Napa Valley since he was 7 years old and is an avid music lover. What kind of music? Anything that makes him nod his head while listening! In his free time, Eliseo loves fishing, watching the sunset and just hanging out with his son.
Lygia Matias
Production Manager
Lygia hails from Sao Paulo, Brazil. Her event career began just after a move to New York City, where she gained a plethora of experiences with several top event design agencies. Her talents stretch beyond the operations of an event as she is also a skilled florist, event designer and has a brain for the most complex of logistics! Lygia has landed in Napa and does not plan on leaving anytime soon. Happily married for 17 years, Lygia and her husband enjoy quiet weekends and playing in the parks with their “fur baby”.
Amanda Williams
Creative Design | Floral
Since 2016 Amanda has been our lead designer and floral buyer. Amanda is a happy, passionate mom of three who, like her mother, "loves all things flowers'”. Amanda finds inspiration in the Napa Valley romantic style of floral design. Her favorite projects allow for the use of her creative design talent paired with beautiful locally sourced floral elements.
Briana Jasmer Hoover
Briana joins the Rion team with over nine years experience in the event industry. Planning, producing and everything in between! She loves seeing events go from checklists and words on paper to full blown productions. Briana is responsive, organized and brings her enthusiasm to all she does. Any free time is spent in the great outdoors with her wife and dog camping and hiking. Her at home passions include baking sourdough bread and raising chickens -- and selling the farm fresh eggs!
Leslie Ossovski
Accounting
Leslie is passionate about helping Rion Designs reach its full potential and brings her amazing organizational skills, love of creating seamless processes and goal of financial freedom to the team. With four kiddos to look after, she is sure to make every second count. By the time you finish reading this blurb, she will have already finished her to-do list (and her husband's)!
Pedro Munoz
Graphics Designer
With a background in art and design, Pedro brings years of experience in the event design industry to Rion Designs including custom branding for events, large-scale graphics, spatial planning and custom furniture design. When he is not assisting the team with eye-catching designs, Pedro enjoys long hikes with his dog, going to museums, traveling and honing down his skills as a cheese monger at farmers markets on the weekends.
