LA CALENDA|CUISINE+COMMUNITY

Hands down our favorite place for Mexican food in the Napa Valley is La Calenda in Yountville. But it’s more than just the food. It’s a place for all occasions - a special celebration, drinks at the bar or a family dinner. It’s a cheerful gathering place that fosters a spirit of togetherness.

Many of our clients have held events here and we’ve had the pleasure of working alongside the LaCalenda team. From birthday celebrations to after wedding parties we love adding to their already colorful collection of accents, design and decor..

CUISINE

Drawing on fresh and artisanal ingredients, and employing traditional cooking methods, the restaurant features dishes from Chef Kaelin’s native Oaxaca while casting a glance across a range of Mexican regional cuisines including the Baja Peninsula, the Nayarit coast, and Veracruz. The kitchen will nixtamalize Mexican-grown corn for its fresh tortillas, and will import a variety of other specialty-products.

FIESTA

La Calenda has created their interiors by sourcing textiles, furniture and tiles from traditional craftspeople in Mexico. For events we get to add their already beautiful collections: lounge furniture, chairs, hiboys, florals and even an ice luge or a photo booth - including pinata - for some extra fun!

BAKEEN | DRINK!

La Calenda marries its menu with an ambitious beverage program, punctuated by a full-service bar specializing in tequilas and mezcals, beer, and local wines selected in partnership with the Mexican-American Vintner’s Association (MAVA), a nonprofit association in Napa Valley that partners with Latino vintners and winemakers. La Calenda also offers a number of wines from Mexico, including varietals from the Valley of Guadalupe and the Santo Tomás Valley.
